Central Valley Regional Data Center (CV RDC)

The Central Valley Regional Data Center (CV RDC) is being managed through MLJ Environmental and involves personnel who have managed data since 2004 as part of the UC Davis Regional Data Center. MLJ Environmental is dedicated to building partnerships among various stakeholders with the goal of developing solutions for improving environmental quality utilizing innovative research, robust monitoring designs and effective data management. The CV RDC collects and manages water and sediment data collected throughout the Central Valley and works to develop strategies and processes to manage and store data from various monitoring programs. These data are then made available to the public in a timely manner.

The CV RDC works with groups that generate monitoring data to ensure that their projects meet CEDEN/SWAMP comparable requirements. The CV RDC offers resources for implementing monitoring projects that are required to be CEDEN/SWAMP comparable including Quality Assurance Project Plans, field sheet templates, electronic deliverable templates, standard operating procedure guidelines and data evaluation checklists.

Please visit our Data Submission page if you wish to submit data or learn more about our Data Center.
